Despite all these advantages of studying engineering in Egypt—including an internationally and regionally recognized degree, a world-class educational level equivalent to that offered by the largest and most prestigious universities worldwide, and the availability of programs in the most important engineering disciplines at all academic levels from bachelor’s to master’s and doctorate degrees—the tuition fees remain low.
International students pay a one-time registration fee during the first academic year of only USD 1,500. Annual tuition fees are:
- USD 5,000 for undergraduate studies
- USD 5,500 for postgraduate studies (Diploma / Master’s / PhD)
Admission Requirements for the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Azhar University
One of the main advantages of studying at the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Azhar University, is that the admission requirements are easy to fulfill, as follows:
- The international student must hold a valid passport and must not have Egyptian nationality.
- The student must have a high school certificate with a minimum grade of 65% to enroll in the bachelor’s degree program.
